Sandeep Patil was named as the chairman of selection committee of BCCI in 2012. The former cricketer has applied for the job of coach post. His tenure of chairman will end this month. He has coached the India A and also the Indian senior team. He was the coach of Kenyan team who reached the semi-finals of 2003 World Cup in South Africa. He can also become the coach of the Indian team because of experience and knowledge which he can impart to the team.
