The Misbah push ups act – The Pakistani captain Misbah-Ul-Haq came in at a position when the team was struggling and needed someone who could control the flow of wickets. He along other batsmen stitched few valuable partnerships to sail the team’s boat to a safe position. The atmosphere on the ground was quite serious as on one side the England team was concerned about the increasing number of runs on the scoreboard whereas the Pakistan team still had a long way to go. In between all these there was a small moment of joy which made hundreds of spectators on the ground and millions watching on television filled with laughter as the moment Misbah completed his century, he turned towards Pakistan dressing room, saluted the players and started his push up act, the count went till ten. Later he said that he promised the Pakistan army that he will do 10 pushups after completing the century and he was quite amused that he has been able to fulfil his promise. The act was a sheer joy to watch as no one ever expected such an act from Misbah. Really this pushup act will go down in the history books as the funniest act in the history of cricket.
