After seeing the Indian batsmen’s record at the MCG, now let’s take a look at the bowler’s performance at the G. Having known to assist the bowlers especially the pacers, the Indian pacers have managed to perform well there.  Kapil Dev leads the bowling charts with 17-334 in 108.2 overs with an average of 19.64 runs per wicket at an extremely good economy of 3.08.

Following Kapil, there are the Roger Binny, Ravi Shastri, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan and Ajit Agarkar. Binny with 11-257 in 58 overs at an average of 23.36 comes second while slow left arm spinner Ravi Shastri comes in third with 8-27 in 80 overs at an average of 35.8 on a wicket that does not have anything for him. Next on the list is also a leggie, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan who has taken 8-205 in 46 overs with 25.62 runs per wicket. Ajit Agarkar finishes off the list with 7-147 in his 27 overs with an average of 21.00. Here is the entire list:
