New Zealand pacer Trent Boult is the second most wicket-taker in the ODI this year. In 2019, his best came against India when the Men in Blue toured New Zealand. He picked 12 wickets in the five-match ODI series, which includes a five-wicket haul. In the semi-final of the World Cup 2019 against India, he picked two crucial wickets of captain Virat Kohli, and the allrounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was the set batsman.

After the mega event, he hasn’t played an ODI but remains the no.2 in the ICC Men’s bowling ranking of ODI. This year, he picked 38 wickets in 20 matches at the economy rate of 4.70.
