2. Shoving Mustafizur Rahman: Top 5 MS Dhoni controversies
This is the most recent controversy which revolves around the Indian captain. During the first ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur, Dhoni allegedly shoved off Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman, as the latter stood in Dhoni’s way while taking a run. During India’s innings early on, Rahman was warned by Rohit Sharma, who was livid as the pacer purposely came in his way while he was taking a run. Rahman repeated his blunder and tried to get smart with Dhoni. But Dhoni being street smart shoved off Mustafizur and the pacer fell on the ground. The impact of Dhoni’s push was so much that the pacer had to be taken off the field. This incident surely meant that Dhoni lost thousands of fans across the globe.
