- Suresh Raina – Despite having experience of 10 years under his belt, Raina has failed to seal his spot in the Indian team and still struggles against the short bowl. In world cup 2011 an experienced Raina warmed the bench for few games as Virat Kohli was preferred over him. Kohli was not a strong force at that time and was a new commodity in international cricket. But Raina announced his coming with his vital innings of 36 runs in the semi-final match against Pakistan. At one stage it looked like Indian team was looking no way closer to 250 but Raina milked up singles and doubles with the tailenders to stretch the Indian innings to 260. His contribution proved to be a winning factor for the Indian team in the end.
