Dan Christian – 1 Crores (Rising Pune Supergiants):
Australian seam bowling all-rounder Dan Christian was almost a forgotten name in the IPL circles before Rising Pune Super Giants got him for a price of 1 Crores. The big-hitting all-rounder was one of the most exciting talents to debut in the 2011 season. He signed for 90,000 USD by Deccan Chargers. The new franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad, however, released him ahead of the 2013 IPL Player Auction where RCB snapped him up for USD 100,000. He was with the RCB for two seasons but failed to emulate the BBL heroics. Since 2013, he was plainly ignored as no franchise looked interested in him. However, fortunes seem to have changed for him today.
