Rashid Latif was an oddity among Pakistani wicket-keepers in many ways, one of which was that he possessed a deeper voice. He was not as vocal either, but even he couldn’t help pulling out a slightly stretched “aah ha”, when Mushtaq once bowled Dermot Reeve or a droll “ai hai”.
