Injuries marred the promising career of Shane Bond, who was New Zealand’s ace bowler for a few years. Bond was simply unplayable at times and has troubled some greats of the game in his playing days. Bond, though, was a policeman and also served as an official in New Zealand police. The former Kiwi pacer underwent his police training in 1999-2000.
