IPL 2017: Kings XI Punjab Bowls First, Mohammad Nabi Makes Debut For Hyderabad 1

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl first in the 19th match of the IPL. Both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab suffered a defeat in their last game and will look to turn the fortunes in this game.

For Kings, only one change was made as Ishant Sharma returns for his countryman Varun Aaron, whereas, for the hosts Hyderabad they made three changes. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi makes his debut and replaced Australia’s, Ben Cutting. Fast bowler Ashish Nehra and spinner offie Bipul Sharma make way for Barinder Sran and Siddharth Kaul.

Have a look at what both the captains said during toss time.

Maxwell –

“We are going to have a bowl. We prefer chasing and you saw how we played in the first two games, we chased really well. Hopefully, we do the same tonight. It just comes to everyone executing their skills and that will be our main focus today. We have got one change: Ishant comes in for Aaron.”

Warner –

“It is disappointing on the road. But we are back home and we have to start fresh. Both teams have lost back-to-back. For us it is about being positive. We have got three changes: Nabi makes his debut and so does Siddharth Kaul. Barinder Sran is back from injury. Ben Cutting misses out.”
