Trailer of India’s Tour of Australia 2018-19 Released

The trailer of the highly anticipated, India’s tour of Australia 2018-19 was released by the Facebook handle of the Australian Cricket Team on Wednesday (May 2).

Australia will take on India, Down Under, for a four-match Test series along with three-match Twenty20 Internationals and as many One-day Internationals series.

The series will be played between November 21 and January 18, 2019. It would be interesting to see how Virat Kohli’s No.1 ranked Test side will face-off hosts.

Also, the last time India toured Australia was bifurcated into a Test-leg back in 2014-15, and the limited-overs leg in 2015-16.

Interestingly, India lost the series against Australia in the whites by 2-0. The visitors would be looking forward to registering a strong statement.

Whereas, they lost the five-match ODI series by a margin of 4-1 defeat, the following season.

Also, Rohit Sharma scored a century at Perth in the first ODI back in 2016.

Thereafter, the Aussies were whitewashed in the subsequent three-match T20I series.

1st Test – Adelaide Oval, December 6-10

3rd Test – Melbourne Cricket Ground, December 26-30

4th Test – Sydney Cricket Ground, January 3-7

1st ODI – Sydney Cricket Ground, January 12

2nd ODI – Adelaide Oval, January 15

3rd ODI – Melbourne Cricket Ground, January 18
