Virender Sehwag was a nightmare to almost all the bowlers he faced as he piled up runs with utmost ease in the powerplay overs. Apart from facing the herculean task of dismissing Sachin Tendulkar, star bowlers had an extra headache to stop the run flow by regulating Virender Sehwag as well.
The duo had dismantled almost every bowling attack in the world across all the conditions, and Australia are no exception. Adam Gilchrist, who is a renowned destructor of his own, has hailed Sehwag time and again for his bold playing style which has garnered a lot of fans for the Indian superstar.
The Aussie legend is still in awe of the amount of destruction that Viru had created and had taken to express the difficulties they faced to stop him during their playing days.
