Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has taken his twitter account to express his discontent over the radio FM channels for not playing patriotic songs on days other than August 15th or January 26th.
It is a known fact that major channels across the nation put all the patriotic songs and movies on the aforementioned two days and the southpaw has pointed out the same thing adding that the FM channels do not play patriotic songs on other days as he posed the to Radio Mirchi and BIG FM.
Every Aug 15th or Jan 26th FM stations play patriotic songs. Sadly all dat vanishes next day. Why? @RadioMirchi @LifeCoachSharat @927BIGFM

Radio Mirchi, however, gave an epic reply to the question posed as they highlighted that such songs need to be played only on special occasions and they have trolled Gambhir suggesting that no one can watch republic day parade if it is aired every day on TV.
Some occasions deserve a special celebration, but imagine if your TV only aired Republic Day parade everyday ?

Despite showing his patriotism, it is Radio Mirchi that caught the eye with their epic reply. National Anthem has been recently included before casting any movie in theatres.
Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir on the cricket field will look forward to the IPL auction at the start of February as he is expected to be present in the auction for KKR. He remains an active player in the T20 league as he is one of the best players in IPL history.
Gambhir will be looking forward to showcasing his talent in the upcoming edition as he is not in the national team picture at the moment after failing to make the most of the two test opportunities he got against New Zealand.
Gambhir, to his credit, replied:
.@RadioMirchi if romantic songs can b played everyday, no harm playing patriotic songs at least once a day! Is it that big a call???
