Rohit Sharma scored the second consecutive hundred against Australia in the Victoria Beer ODI series. Today at Brisbane he scored 124 off 127 balls. His first hundred came after his 171 in Perth. He is second Indian batsman to score consecutive hundred against Australia after VVS Laxman’s two consecutive hundred in 2003-2004 VB series. But, VVS Laxman has played one match in between against Zimbabwe. So, in this aspect, Rohit Sharma is the first batsman to score two consecutive hundred against Australia in a bilateral series.
