Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with his two sisters on August 26 (Sunday).

Meanwhile, Sehwag retired from the game in 2015, playing 104 Tests and 251 ODIs in his 14-year-old international career. He made his ODI debut in 1999 while his Test debut came in 2001.

The 39-year-old played his last game for India in 2013, a Test match against Australia. For two seasons, he played domestic cricket but after finding it difficult to make a comeback to the national team, Sehwag decided to call it quits and announced his retirement from the game. He also decided not to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Virender Sehwag has represented Delhi Daredevils for six years before being roped in by Kings XI Punjab in 2014. Presently, he is serving as the Mentor and Head of Cricket Operations of IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab.

Furthermore, he applied for the post of head coach of the Indian cricket team last year. However, Ravi Shastri won the race and is currently at the helm of the national team.

On this auspicious occasion, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to post two pictures of him celebrating the Rakhi. Along with the picture, he posted a very funny caption mocking himself.

Moreover, the swashbuckling opener also wished everybody a happy Raksha Bandhan.

Celebrating the wonderful inseparable bond that is Raksha Bandhan. With my lovely sisters Anju ji and Manju ji , I Ganju ji 🙂 Wishing you all a very #HappyRakshaBhandan,” the tweet read.

Here is how the Twitter trolled former India cricketer Virender Sehwag:

The Twitter user couldn’t get over this funny tweet from Sehwag and they make fun of him on the social platform.
