The Story:
“Mind your choice of words when on social media”
This should be a disclaimer on every social media sites that exists on the web. The reason is pretty straightforward; it is very easy to misinterpret any tweet or post and re-post it as something vulgar or insensitive. Celebs often get targetted for the same.
Confused twitter users slam Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor, the outspoken and often controversial veteran Bollywood actor, today faced some ire in the Twitter universe for posting a motivating tweet for India Women’s Cricket team before the start their ICC Women’s World Cup title clash against England.
He tweeted: Waiting for a repeat of Sourav Ganguly’s act on the balcony of The Lords Ground, London, when India beat England 2002 NatWest series final! YO

Well, his attempt to lend his best wishes to the Indian team was taken in a totally different way because of the Sourav Ganguly’s picture which was attached with the tweet.
It was the picture of the famous moment when Ganguly, as a reply to Andrew Flintoff, waved his shirt standing in the Lord’s balcony after India beat the hosts in the finals of the Natwest series in 2002.
People mistook this tweet outrageously. One user mocked him for being mentally imbalanced, another lady called him sexist and the few others joined the party.
The actor, as expected, was furious and finally tweeted out to justify his message and get things clear.
“WHAT WRONG HAVE I SAID? I DIDNT SAY ANY FEMALE PLAYER SHOULD!I ONLY SAID SOURAV GANGULY SHOULD REPEAT HIS SHOW. YOU HAVE A WRONG MIND DEAR!”
