England won the toss and decided to bat first on a track that was expected to turn. England were under huge trouble before their lower order came to rescue them. Moeen Ali and David Willey ensured that England reached 142 runs, setting atarget of 143 runs. Afghanistan lost wickets pretty early and never looked in the game. They lost the match by 15 runs and thus are out of the tournament now.
