ICC announced the group and schedule for the World T20 2016 in Mumbai at BCCI headquarter. India are in the group of death as they have been slotted in the Group 2 with Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand. India and Pakistan will face each other on March 19 at Dharamsala.

The tournament will be played across eight Indian cities from March 8 to April 3^rd. Both men’s and women;s matches being played simultaneously.

ICC has increased the prize money for this edition as well. The men’s winners will get $5.6 million, an 86 percent from the 2014 edition and the women’s winner will get $400,000- a 122.

Many cricket fans are crying as their home cities did not get a single India match. Pakistani fans conceived the perception that India is not a safe place for the tournament. At the meantime, many are excited about the Indo-Pak match at on Saturday 19 March.

But, the biggest concern for cricket writers was where Pakistan will play if they qualify for the semifinal?
