The newly-appointed selection committee headed by MSK Prasad announced the 15-members squad for the first three matches of the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Fans were expecting Yuvraj Singh to get selected in the squad but he missed out and Suresh Raina made a comeback to the team after last playing for India in the 50-over format in 2015 when South Africa visited India.

He was not in the squad for the tour to Australia in December-January and was also omitted from the squad for the T20 squad that played against West Indies in the USA a couple of months ago.said Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami have been rested.ome fresh faces were included in the team as Mandeep Singh, Jayant Yadav,Kedar Jadhav
