New Zealand beat South Africa by 4 wickets with just one ball to spare in a thrilling Semi-Finals at the Eden Park, Auckland. The match went down to the wire and Grant Elliott held his nerves and finished off the match for his side. Here are some interesting tweets after the end of the match.
Supposed to be the best fielding side:
Awkward moment when you realise that South Africans lost because of their “Fielding” :/ #NZvSA

They did not deserve to lose today:

Exactly….
One of the reasons that cricket is the greatest sport is that sometimes there is no answer to the question “Who’s winning?” #NZvSA #WC2015

Spot-on by the selectors… Appreciate them for picking Grant Elliott ahead of Jimmy Neesham
elliot hadn’t played a single ODI in 2014…was recalled at almost 36 years old..sometimes selectors are unsung heroes #NZvSA

So then a guy born in Johannesburg seals the deal and puts @OfficialCSA out. #irony #NZvSA @grantelliottnz #CWC15

Both deserve to win… Unfortunately there can be only one winner
Today is the only day where every one feels S***t why Cricket has only one winner when there are two teams deserve to win… #NZvSA

They gave all they could… But luck was not in their favour
Game Over #Proteas shed their ‘chokers’ tag + replace it with Courage, Class + Commitment sport is brutal but congrats to @BLACKCAPS #NZvSA

In a matter of 4 years, the roles have changed but not the result…
In 2011, Kyle Mills was instigating a fight with the South Africans…now he’s consoling them. #NZvSA

Which is better? MS Dhoni or Grant Elliott?
The way we Indians remember Dhoni’s 6 from the 2011 WC the same way New Zealanders will remember this Elliott six! #NZvSA
