Rohit Sharma

Mumbai Indians opener Parthiv Patel (21) and Rohit Sharma’s (85) early onslaught made the trajectory of  winning their fifth match of Indian Premier League 2016. At Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, the home ground of Rising Pune Supergiants, the last match of IP 9 held as the water crisis put IPL out of the Maharashtra state. Dhoni form is no more matchable to his Chennai Super Kings records  as under his captaincy Pune lost their six of nine matches.

Batting first Pune scored a respectable 159. But Mumbai Indian batsmen made the score look just a three digits which is easily achievable. Sharma’s 85 runs innings came off 60 balls, a sensible  innings indeed. Mumbai won the match by eight wickets and nine balls remaining.
