Disastrous is probably the only word that can be associated with Australia’s batting effort in the first hour of the fourth Ashes test in Nottingham. The Aussies, after being invited to bat first lost as many as 8 wickets within the first 13 overs of the test! Just imagine losing 8 wickets within the very first hour of the game!
Pegged back by the sheer brilliance of Stuart Broad, the Aussie batsmen looked like mere dummies, who lacked even the club level experience. Twitter was in full flow, as the Australians got beaten black and blue by the hosts. Below, are some of the hilarious tweets.
A team of extras would have scored more 13×7= 91…. 7 batters only scored 25 #Ashes2015

England employing six slips! Aussies going at over 3.5 RPO in a Test Match. Surely, the Poms must look to defend now! #Ashes #Ashes2015

Looks like Mitchell Johnson will be the top scorer and it’s only the 12th over. #Ashes2015
