Rangana Herath put on a display of sheer class as he tormented the Indian batsmen on the 4th morning of the first test. India began the day needing another 153 runs to win the first test. But Herath, in tandem with Kaushal spun a web around the much celebrated Indian batting lineup.
By the end of the first session, the visitors were reduced to 78-7, as Herath bagged a five for. At lunch, things look utterly bleak for India. Only a miracle from Rahane can save them.
Below, are the Twitter Reactions to India’s epic batting collapse.
