The day 1 of the third Test match just not went the way the India wanted as the team lost two early wickets followed by many others. Though in between they had some good partnerships but still we cannot snatch away credit from West Indies bowlers who bowled really hard to make every run a challenging task for the Indian team. They bowled quite well and tested the abilities of Indian batsmen. It will not be easy for the Indian team to put up a good score on the board due to superb bowling from Windies bowlers.
Twitter reacted to the Day 1 of the day. Some made trolls of Rohit Sharma, some lauded West Indies bowlers and some took a dig at Indian team. Let us have a look at how twitter reacted to day 1 of the third Test match –
Set batting order ruined only to fit Rohit Sharma. His finest talent is to always make it look like bowler’s fault to get him out #IndvsWI

What talent we got to see for 9 runs from #Rohit Sharma’s school of talent. Brilliant. And we dropped Pujara for him. #IndvsWI

Q: What is the height of optimism?
A: Shikhar Dhawan coming out to bat applying sunscreen to his face. #IndvsWI— Nava mohan (@iamnavamohan) August 9, 2016
Alzarri Joseph, you beauty! What a great start for the 19-year old! Pace, bouncy, carry! 1st test wicket of Kohli. What a moment! #IndvsWI

If Shikhar Dhawan would’ve gone to #RioOlympics2016 , he would’ve won a Gold in ‘Walking back to the pavilion’ event#IndvsWI
— Sunil (@akshaykanitkar) August 9, 2016
Rahul Dravid is lucky not to have played in modern day , else he would have been dropped so many times for slow batting #WIvIND

Pujara is like a food cooked by your mom. You realise it’s (his) importance only when you don’t have (get) it. #WIvIND
— Cricket Bakchod (@AllTimeBakchod) August 9, 2016
Shobha de can now point out on Rohit Sharma’s previous selfies and say ” What a waste of talent Rohit Sharma is.” #WIvIND
— Cricket Bakchod (@AllTimeBakchod) August 9, 2016
Rohit Sharma has been picked ahead of Murali Vijay. This has to be his biggest achievement in Test cricket so far #WIvIND

Twice in two innings, WI have frustrated Rahane into playing a bad shot and he did. Was dropped in Jamaica but bowled here. #WIvInd #IndvsWI
— Chetan Narula (@chetannarula) August 9, 2016
Meanwhile in St Lucia, seems India are already batting to save the Test as Windies did in Jamaica. Except this isn’t day-5 but 1 #IndvsWI

ASHWIN AND SAHA RAN THREE!
*breaks down in tears of joy*
— Nikhil (@CricCrazyNIKS) August 9, 2016
Saha in Marathi means “bear” and he’s certainly ensuring India bear his blocking. #WIvIND
— Nikhil (@CricCrazyNIKS) August 9, 2016
It wasn’t the ball that got that wicket but the constant drip drip of pressure after the runs dried up. #WIvIND #cricket
— Anand Vasu (@anandvasu) August 9, 2016
This is poor captaincy from Holder. New man in and Brathwaite still on. Should be Joseph, Gabriel or both. #cricket #WIvIND
— Anand Vasu (@anandvasu) August 9, 2016
IDK wht is so wrong wid these peoples? I scored 9(23b), whr Kohli scored 3 and Dhawan just 1run.?Calculatively Rohit Sharma is still better.
— Rohit Sharma (@imRo45_) August 9, 2016
Virat Kohli made a mess of a settled batting order to accommodate “The Talent” who did not disappoint my keen eye. All of 9 runs #WIvIND
— Sanjay Dixit, IAS (@Sanjay_Dixit) August 9, 2016
Just graduated from under-19 ranks, Alzarri Joseph will treasure his first victim – @imVkohli no less – forever. India under pressure…

TOUCHING MOMENT: Alzarri Joseph gets his first Test cap from Joel Garner. #WIvIND pic.twitter.com/8LmWj5tsQt

In his short career, Alzarri Joseph has already won an U19 WC, hit AB on his head with a bouncer, dismissed Virat Kohli in a Test. #WIvsIND

19 Year old Alzarri Joseph’s first International wicket is Virat Kohli what a way to start your international career..
