Pakistan defeated England by four wickets in the last and final One-Day International to secure a consolation win and avoid a humiliating whitewash.
Pakistan skipper Azhar Ali earlier won the toss and elected to ball first on a pitch that was looking good for batting.
England batsmen Jason Roy and Ben Stokes both struck quickfire fifties as England made a big score of 302. Roy made 87 and Stokes an ODI-best 75 as England. With England chasing a 5-0 clean sweep for the first time at a home one-day series, they received a huge boost after posting the huge total.
Chasing such a huge score, Pakistan were in a spot of bother after losing 3 wickets with only 77 on the board. But a fourth-wicket partnership of 163 between Shoaib Malik (77) and Sarfraz Ahmed (90) turned this match in Pakistan’s favour . UK born Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim hit the winning runs when he struck a four off all-rounder Chris Jordan with 10 balls to spare as Pakistan finished on 304 for six.
