Gutsy. Courageous. Classy. These are probably some of the adjectives that can be used to describe the knock of Kane Williamson in the fourth innings against Sri Lanka on a treacherous wicket. By the virtue of Williamson’s rock solid knock, the Kiwis managed to chase down 189, on a wicket that was simply too cumbersome for batting. The end result of the win was that the Kiwis won the test series by a margin of 0-2 and will now be looking to assert their dominance in the limited overs.
Twitter lauded New Zealand for their win over Sri Lanka and below are some of the tweets.
Kane is the 3rd youngest to reach 13 Test 100s. The other two were called Tendulkar and Bradman. @BLACKCAPS #NZvSL @TheACCnz #steadytheship

Lots of positives from the #SriLanka loss to #NewZealand – strength of opening partnership, Chandimal’s batting, Chameera’s bowling #NZvSL
