Shikhar Dhawan’s indifferent form against the South Africans continued as he was dismissed for a pair in the first test at Mohali. After getting out for a duck in the first innings, Dhawan once again was dismissed without troubling the scorers in the second innings. It was once again pacer Vernon Philander who got the better of the southpaw. Dhawan gave an easy catch to AB De Villiers, stationed at second slip. The nature of dismissal is a worrying sign for Dhawan, as his technique is again under the scanner.
