Michael Clarke announced his retirement after a huge setback suffered by his team in the ongoing Ashes series. Before the start of the day three play there were speculations that the Aussie skipper might hang his boots after the Ashes series, and it was certainly the case and the Aussie skipper announced himself after England regaining the Ashes.
