Prithvi Shaw – One of the players missing in the Indian batting line-up was the young sensation, Prithvi Shaw. The 18-year-old batsman has shown his prowess in first-class cricket. Hence, Rahul Dravid asked him to play Ranji Trophy to raise his bar. Mumbai’s gain was India U19’s loss, and as a result, India U-19s suffered the second biggest upset in the history of junior cricket.

Shaw has four centuries to his name in six first-class games and has a real chance of playing for the Indian team. Though he will play U19 World Cup, as Dravid has said, no one can stop his selection in India team if he comes up with few good knocks in ongoing Ranji season.
