Sandeep Sharma
Regarded as India’s next lead pacer by many, Sandeep caught the attention with his swing and wicket-taking abilities with the new ball. The first player to play international cricket from that squad, Sandeep’s last appearance at the highest level came back in 2015. He continues to be a star performer in IPL but isn’t in the scheme of things to make a national comeback now. He is presently a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad
Kamal Passi
The right-arm pacer did not get a chance for Punjab after World Cup and only made his first-class debut for Services in 2015/16 season. A season later, he moved back to Punjab but just one wicket in two Ranji Trophy matches meant he was dropped. Kamal hasn’t played a match at the senior level for three years now.
Ravikant Singh
With 12 scalps, Ravikant was the joint highest wicket-taker for India at World Cup but he has just played one List A match so far. Ravikant recently made a comeback and made his T20 debut for Bengal in 2019/20 season. The 25-year-old is yet to make his first-class debut.
