No Saliva on the ball:
Seeing bowlers shinning the bowl through saliva is a regular sight in the match. It helps the bowler to swing the ball, to trouble batsman. Now, as the coronavirus fear is around, the ICC has proclaimed to ban the use of saliva on the ball.
The saliva of a person infected with the virus can spread it to others as well. Therefore, judging by the severity of the situation at hand, this step has been taken to curb the spread of the virus, irrespective of the fact whether they are infected or not.
However, “Prevention is Better Than Cure” is the only tactic that should be followed to pass the unprecedented phase.
