Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh congratulated the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah for his Test hat-trick. Yuvraj claimed that he wasn’t surprised about Bumrah’s achievement.
On Saturday (31st August), during day two of the Jamaica Test between Windies and India, Bumrah achieved this great figure. After losing the toss, the visitors India managed to score 416 runs in the first innings.

In reply, Windies batsmen totally failed to compete against Jasprit Bumrah. The right-arm pacer completed his hat-trick during his fourth over of the match, ninth over of Windies’ innings. In that special over, Bumrah dismissed Darren Bravo (4), Shamarh Brooks (0) and Roston Chase (0) in three successive deliveries.
Bravo lost his wicket through the caught out as KL Rahul took a good catch at the slip. Then, Bumrah successfully trapped both Brooks and Chase for the lbw.
Jasprit Bumrah became the third Indian bowler to claim a Test hat-trick. The off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and the left-arm pacer Irfan Pathan were the first two Indians to claim a Test hat-trick.
Meanwhile, Bumrah became the 40th overall bowler to claim a Test hat-trick. On the other hand, it was the 44th hat-trick in Test cricket history.
