Video: Australian streaker jailed in Sri Lanka for one week 1

An Australian man named Alex James has been jailed for a week after running naked onto the field during the opening day of play in the first cricket Test between Australia and Sri Lanka in Kandy. The man has also been slapped a fine of Rs 3000.

The heavy rains did not hamper the man’s spirits as he stole the show when everybody present at the ground was getting bored.  Fully clothed in shorts and a T-shirt at the beginning of the episode, James was able to casually make his way onto the covered pitch without any interference from security.
James then decided to take his adventure to another level as he started undressing. First, he tossed his shirt away followed by the shorts and undergarments. Afterwards, he started slipping and sliding over the cover. What was shocking that no security personnel was found and Hind easily went back to his place on the ground.

He was later  sentenced in Kandy’s Magistrate Court No.2 to a week behind bars for “indecent exposure”.

Here is the video of that episode:

Meanwhile, replying to Sri Lanka’s first innings total of 117, Australian team were all out for 203. Trailing by 86 runs, Sri Lanka started poorly once again as they lost opener Kusal Perera with only 6 on the board. They ended the second day with the same scoreline. Kaushal Silva and Dimuth Karunaratne will start the proceedings with the bat on the third day.
