Video: Eoin Morgan And Chris Jordan Set Up A Ploy To Dismiss Virat Kohli

It was a tough day for the Indian skipper Virat Kohli on the field as once again he failed to capitalise on a good start. Right from the word go, Kohli found his stay at the crease difficult as first he suffered a scare when a shorter one from Tymal Mills went on to take his edge which flew to the ropes behind the wickets. Kohli was lucky that Sam Billings, who had a long run from the third man, couldn’t reach the ball.
He got another opportunity when umpire failed to read the trajectory of the delivery and adjudged Kohli not out on the second delivery of the third over when he seemed to be out.
It was after this incident when Kohli seemed to get a bit of form and a standing six off Mills on the second delivery of fourth over was the evidence. Just when he seemed to be in touch, England skipper Eoin Morgan and bowler Chris Jordan set up a ploy to dismiss him, as Jordan, in the next over, started with a slower one which Kohli failed to judge and in an effort to send the ball outside the park, he was caught at long-on by Liam Dawson on 21.
