It was a record-breaking day for Rising Pure Supergiant bowler Jaydev Unadkat, as the left-arm pacer did not just took his first hat-trick in Indian Premier League (IPL) but also completed his 100 wickets in the T20 league.
Not just this, he also became the second bowler after Jame Faulkner to take two five-fer in IPL.
RPS was defending 13 runs in the last over and it was Jaydev Unadkat who was given the responsibility. After bowling a dot ball, Undakat was able to invite Bipul Sharma for a big shot, who was caught by Ben Stokes at deep midwicket.
On the next delivery, he caught Rashid Khan off his own delivery and completed his first ever hat-trick by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the very next one.
It was a great spell from him, as it is unimaginable to take a hat-trick and bowl a maiden over, that too in the final one of the game. In the end, it was Rising Pune Supergiant that won the game at the home ground of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
