Video: Last night Umesh Yadav and Mohd. Shami played with West Indies batsmen 1

Yesterday night West Indies batsmen had no clue to the Indian bowling pair of Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav. Starting the day on 30 for 1,  India bundled out the Windies for 243 runs. Virat Kohli’s men can’t stop smiling. On day three India grabbed the first Test firmly in their grip.

With India still having the lead of 323  to their credit, Virat Kohli asked the West Indies to follow-on. West Indies batting in their second innings finished the day with 21 for 1.  West Indies lost the wicket of Kraigg Brathwaite in the first over of the second innings.

Both Indian pacers Mohammad Shami, who made a comeback in the team after the 2015 World Cup semifinal, and Umesh Yadav got four wickets each in the first innings.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has taken two wickets in the first innings of the West Indies. For West Indies except Brathwaite’s 74 very few figured out how to offer any kind of resistance. Wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich was unbeaten on 57.

The debutant Roston Chase scored 21, and put on a 47 run stand with Brathwaite, yet that was never going to be sufficient. Captain Jason Holder hoped to play a few shots, however, he played one too many and was caught behind by Saha.
