Ending all speculations around the allegations that everything is not fine between him and Yuvraj Singh as he did not attend latter’s wedding, Mahendra Singh Dhoni attended his teammate’s wedding reception in New Delhi on December 7.

The wedding function which lasted over a week began with a Sangeet ceremony in Mohali on November 29. The southpaw then tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend at a Chandigarh Gurudwara on November 30 which was followed by a Hindu wedding ceremony in Goa on December 2. While the wedding was attended by the Indian team along with some former players who shared the dressing room with the Punjab batsman, Dhoni was a notable absentee from all the functions which raised several eyebrows.

One cannot blame the fans as there is a history when it comes to Yuvraj and Dhoni. Dhoni was blasted by Yuvraj’s father, Yograj Singh when the left-handed batsman was not selected in the squad for the 2015 World Cup. He even compared the India skipper to the mythical villain Ravana. Yuvraj later took to Twitter to clear out the mess. But the latest incidents once again brought back the speculations that everything is not fine between both cricketers.

But Dhoni has put all those rumors and speculations to bed, at least for the time being as he along with his wife attended Yuvraj’s reception in Delhi. The players were seen enjoying each other’s company as they exchanged pleasantries before posing for photographs.

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammad kaif, Zaheer Khan, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh were also present at the ceremony.
