Mohammad Amir gave an epic reply to Mohammad Hafeez while playing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Hafeez earlier denied to play for Chittagong Vikings in the league as Amir, who was involved in 2010 spot-fixing incident,  is playing for them. However, the franchise had denied making any offer to the batsman. But as the Pakistan’s series against England got over, Hafeez agreed to play the T20 tournament for Dhaka Dynamites changing his previous stance.

Amir, 23, visibly happy after getting the wicket of Hafeez at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka today (Tuesday). Hafeez came to bat as an opener for Dhaka Dynamites. He scored 1 off 8 balls before he nicked a rising delivery of Amir.

Hafeez had to offer an apology as PCB show cause notice to the senior batsman.

Hafeez, 35, later gave a statement, saying,“I have no personal issues with Amir or Chittagong, it’s my personal opinion that I can’t share the dressing room with someone who hurt my country’s integrity.”

Meanwhile, Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq talking about Amir if he performs well then he will be considered for the national team.

“I have said this before and I will say it again, we are no
one to decide their fate and we are no one to judge. The decision has to be taken by the ICC and the PCB, but the biggest decision resides with the fans. If the fans are willing to accept them, then who are we to stop them?

As players we have played with them, we are professionals and playing cricket is our profession. The decision is in the hands of the two regulatory bodies and the fans of Pakistan cricket.” Misbah-ul-Haq on Muhammed Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt’s return.
