Indian limited over captain MS Dhoni is touring Zimbabwe with a bunch of young players. India has already ensured victory in the first two matches as Zimbabwe knelt down in front of India’s young bowling attack.
Zimbabwe scored 168 and 126 in the first two matches but Indian top order KL Rahul and Ambati Rayudu have done most of the job. Rahul has scored 100 in the first match and 33 in the second match and Rayudu scored unbeaten 62 and 41 in the first and second match respectively.
Their performance didn’t allow the middle order to bat. Captain Dhoni showed concern at the press conference.
Dhoni himself played the role of a wicketkeeper. So in a series where he has nothing to do opted to spend some quality time at the gym.
Indian cricket fans have seen Virat Kohli to spend a lot of time in the gym other than practicing and playing cricket. Virat has set his ambition to be the greatest athlete of the world. Virat is 27 now and is spending time away from international cricket.
The Indian Test captain will tour West Indies next month for a four-Test series.
On the other hand, MS Dhoni is sweating it out in Zimbabwe. The 35-year-old is spending time at the gym to stay fit.
In recent time, Dhoni has to receive a lot of flak due to his age and underperformance. But Dhoni never retreats from his goal to play the 2017Champions Trophy and 2019 World Cup in England.
