Video: A stunning catch via a Watson-Wiese combine 1

At the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, Royal Challengers Banglore scored 191 runs batting first. Delhi Daredevils captain Zaheer Khan winning the toss elected to field first, but his bowlers paid a heavy price of some loose bowling.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers had second hundred run partnership in this IPL. Virat scored 79 off 48 balls, while AB de Villiers scored 55.

But, an outstanding spell of Chris Morris and Mohammad Shami in the last three overs conceded only 21 runs that barred RCB from crossing 200 run mark. Shami’s short pitch delivery forced Watson to pull it but the ball hit at the upper portion of the bat and was caught by Morris while Virat tried to play a lofted shot off Morris to score runs quickly but was caught by Shreyas Iyer.

However, Delhi Daredevils commencing the chase, got off a terrible start as an outstanding catch was jointly completed by Shane Watson and David Wiese. Iyer hit a skier to long-on, Watson and Wiese run to the ball. Watson first caught the ball but he sensed that he would cross the boundary so he pushed the ball inside the boundary and Wiese, who was running behind Watson, caught the ball but he skidded a bit towards the boundary, but luckily did not touch the boundary and hence completing the catch.
