There is something magical, yet mysterious about the evergreen and always 18 at heart, Shahid Afridi. The Pakistani all rounder remains a crowd favorite even to this day and despite playing his last T20I more than a year ago, the fan following and craze for the dynamic Pathan remains the same, and his enigma, never dying.

Be it with his words off the cricket field or his exploits on the 22 yards, Afridi remains the most polarizing figures in recent times. His brilliance came to the fore not so long ago, during the ongoing Natwest T20 Blast in England.

Representing Hampshire in the competition, Boom Boom Afridi stood up when the need arose in the big game. Promoted to open the innings in the all important quarter final, Afridi blazed his way through as he decimated the Derbyshire bowlers.

Being the unpredictable character he is, Afridi raced his way to the maiden T20 ton of his career, and his spellbinding knock of 101, came off just 43 deliveries. In Afridi’s entertaining knocks, 10 boundaries and 7 gigantic sixes were hit, as the Pakistani veteran went into the oblivion.

With Afridi entertaining yet again, cricket fans can rejoice to the sheer blitzkrieg of the flamboyant all rounder. Below, is the video, showcasing Afridi’s brilliance from the Natwest T20 Blast.
