ToggleKedar Jadhav has been appointed Maharashtra’s captain for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. Jadhav will be available for the complete tournament as he isn’t a part of the T20I squad. Jadhav, who was a part of India’s World Cup squad, will next play in the home series against West Indies as India do not play an ODI before that.

Rahul Tripathi will be assisting Jadhav in captaincy duties. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who has been doing well for India A of late, will also be available for Maharashtra along with Ankit Bawne.

Suresh Raina to miss Vijay Hazare Trophy –
Samarth Singh will be leading Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The team will miss out on the services of Suresh Rina, who is recovering from knee surgery that he underwent last month. UP’s squad includes likes of Akshdeep Nathan, Rinku Singh, Ankit Rajpoot, Shivam Mavi and Mohit Jangra.

Squad: Samarth Singh (Captain), Almas Shaukat, Abhishek Goswami, Akshdeep Nath, Rinku Singh, Hardeep Singh, Upendra Yadav, Ankit Rajpoot, Shivam Mavi, Mohsin Khan, Mohit Jangra, Saurabh Kumar, Shanu Saini, Ankit Chaudhary, Mukesh Kumar.

Yuzvendra Chahal available for Haryana –
Yuzvendra Chahal, who has now lost his place in the T20I squad, will be playing for Haryana in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Seniors Amit Mishra, Harshal Patel, and Jayant Yadav are also a part of the team.
Chahal will be available for the complete tournament as India do not play an ODI before the month of December.
Manan Vohra to lead Chandigarh –
Former India U-19 player Manan Vohra will be leading debutant Chandigarh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He will be assisted by experienced Bipul Sharma.
Barinder Sran and Uday Kaul, who moved to Chandigarh from Punjab, will bring in much-needed experience in the team. India U-19 cricketer Arjun Azad has also been named and is likely to make his List A during the tournament.

Hanuma Vihari to captain Andhra Pradesh –
India Test batsman Hanuma Vihari will be leading Andhra Pradesh in the initial matches. He is expected to be available for at least three matches before joining India camp for the South Africa Test series.
No Irfan Pathan in Jammu & Kashmir squad –
Irfan Pathan has not been named Jammu and Kashmir’s squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In his absence, Parvez Rasool will be leading the state. Pathan had switched his base to J & K from Baroda ahead of the last season.
