Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been spotted walking hand in hand on the streets of Auckland, New Zealand. Kohli is a part of the Indian squad that is currently taking on the Kiwis in the two-test series.
The couple, who have consistenly clarified that they are ‘just friends’, were spotted strolling together by fans on the deserted streets of the city, where the Indian cricket team is currently staying.
According to a report by Indian Express, Anushka Sharma has travelled to Auckland after Virat insisted they spend more time with each other.
Anushka has recently said in an interview that: “We are friends (Virat and Anushka). I met him during the shoot of a shampoo commercial. I thought he’d be arrogant so I also went with arrogance but once we started shooting, I realised that he’s really chilled out. We shot together for three days and on the second day of the shoot, I was having a get-together at my place so I called him over to hang out with my friends”
“That’s what it was and the next thing I read is a completely fictional account of how we were smooching in a lift in front of some Aunty from my building who we made uncomfortable. Arrey, I’m not even a hugging person. I feel very weird when everyone hugs each other on the sets. I’m like arrey kal hi toh mile thay yaar.”
Earlier. SPORTZWIKI had revealed that Virat and Anushka are in a live-in relationship for the last month, and Virat was seen partying with Anushka and her close friends on the 31st of December, hours after arriving from the South Africa tour.
India are yet to register a single win in the tour having failed to chase a daunting target of 407 to win the first Test match. Kohli made 4 and 67 in the two innings during first Test match.
