Virat Kohli, who is currently enjoying the holiday with his wife Anushka Sharma, congratulates the Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan for receiving the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award.

On Sunday (29th December), Amitabh Bachchan was awarded Dada Saheb Phalke by the Indian President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for his unforgettable and immense contribution to Indian cinema. Big B was the 50th recipient of the prestigious award.

Many fans congratulated the legend for the achievement and also the Indian skipper Virat Kohli took the twitter to praise his contribution to the cinema and to inspire the lives of many.

Virat Kohli and co had a successful 2019 as they created history after winning the bilateral Test and ODI series in Australian series. However, India could not bring the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 trophy to home.

Currently, in the inauguration edition of ICC World Test Championship 2019-21, India tops the points table with the 360 points. Also, Kohli-led team, India has maintained the no.1 position in the ICC Test team rankings.

After winning the last series of the year against West Indies, Virat Kohli has gone to Switzerland with his wife Anushka Sharma to spend the vacations.

In 2020, India will first play the home series against Sri Lanka where the two teams will play three T20Is. Following this, Australia will tour India to play three ODIs. At the end of January, India will tour New Zealand to play five T20Is, three ODIs, and two Test matches.
