Flamboyant Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, used the Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s example to guide the budding Indian cricketers to have a positive mental attitude. Hardik Pandya visited some youngsters in Baroda and had an interaction along with his brother Krunal Pandya.
Speaking about his experience and drawing inspirational messages from his India teammates, Hardik said ‘it will be fun’ if some of the youngsters from Baroda play with him for India in 10 years. Hardik Pandya has himself risen from the deep roots of Indian cricket and has scaled all the heights in world cricket. His journey began from playing in the streets of Baroda and now when he has reached the summit, he made sure he motivated other youngsters from his hometown too.
Thus, he returned to the town that gave him everything and used the example of the most celebrated Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma to inspire the young minds.
Hardik Pandya Full Of Praise For Virat Kohli
“I was talking to Virat (Kohli) two days ago. I asked him something that I never asked him before. I asked him ‘What is the reason behind your excellence?’.
“He sent me a message. ‘Your attitude is fine, everything is fine. Just you have to keep one thing in mind to reach and have that kind of consistency. You have to have a great hunger to become No. 1 in the right way. Not by pushing anyone down but based on your hard work and merit you should set becoming No. 1 as your goal’. Then I came to know how he is as consistent as he is,” Pandya said.
Virat Kohli Has Been Phenomenal For Team India
The flamboyant Indian skipper has already smashed 70 international centuries so far and just seems to get better with days going by. Virat Kohli is now eighth on the list of the most runs scored by a batsman in international cricket. The Delhi-based star has a very long career ahead and the kind of form that he has been in, it seems a considerable possibility that Virat Kohli will lead this chart too.
He has successfully ascended the throne of the Indian captain. Although Team India still hunts for an ICC trophy under him, there are no doubts that Virat Kohli is the most suitable candidate for Indian cricket in contemporary times.
