Virat Kohli Is Someone Who Is Very Special, Says Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella, CEO of tech giants Microsoft, is one of the busiest men on the planet but at the end of the day, even he cannot stay away from cricket. In a recent interview, Nadella opened up on his love for the game, revealing how he manages time off his hectic schedule to remain updated on the game and calling India skipper Virat Kohli ‘very special’.
Giving an account of his knowledge of the game, Nadella also lauded the Indian pace attack and Ravichandran Ashwin’s ability to bowl different deliveries.
“Unfortunately I don’t have time, but I follow it through cricinfo quite a bit, I love Test cricket. I think Virat Kohli is someone who is very special. It’s awesome to see the Indian pace attack. I think R Ashwin is someone who can bowl six different balls in an over, with his variety of balls,” he told The Times of India.
Nadella went on to laud the current Indian team for its excellent athleticism, professionalism and compared it with the Australian team.
“Their (Team India’s) fielding, the athleticism, the professionalism, is something else. It is fantastic to see the Indians play like Australians,” he noted.
Nadella further said that he loves to watch Rohit Sharma play and said that the India opener reminds him of former India star VVS Laxman.
“I love watching Rohit Sharma play, you know that follow through of his, his cover drives. He reminds me of VVS Laxman. When he (Rohit) is on song, I think he is just glorious to watch,” he further said.
