With his side almost out of the race for a playoff berth this season, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli, it seems, is headed for a vacation with his girlfriend Anushka Sharma.
The Royal Challengers were last seen in action on Monday (May 1) when they lost against Mumbai Indians and they will be playing their next game against Kings XI Punjab at home on Friday (May 5). The Virat Kohli-led side is currently languishing at the bottom of the points table after managing just 5 points in the 11 games so far.
The ongoing season is as good as over for the runners-up of last year and Kohli has used the three-day gap between the two matches to spend some time with his girlfriend. The India skipper and the Bollywood actress are probably the most celebrated and talked-about couple in India. The two have been in a relationship for quite some time now but they had never really opened up about their relationship and had always avoided the media glare. But the lovebirds are not shying away from making their relationship public now.
Both of them were spotted together last month when Anushka joined Kohli in Bangalore when he was recovering from a shoulder injury. The couple was also seen together earlier when they had welcomed the New Year at a retreat at Uttarakhand, raising speculations over their engagement.
And this time, they were seen at the airport, leaving for an unknown destination. Well, it is quite likely that the India batting star is spending some quality time with Anushka as he could not attend her birthday on May 1.
