BCCI has given an unofficial warning to the RoyalChallenger’s Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli for meeting his girlfriend  Anushka Sharma during the rain delay in RCB’s last group match against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday.

The images of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma clearly came on the big screen during the match after they both met near the VIP enclosure and the Player’s area. Also, some images reveal that Anushka also had a chat with Yuvraj there.

BCCI has sent him a letter asking him to give an explanation over his act. Even in the past, Kohli has been sent such letter when he had a spat with the journalist and he was asked not to repeat such behaviour in the future.

IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla said that he has spoken to Virat Kohli over this matter and has told him that he should not be meeting anyone when the match is technically going on. He also added that at Chinnaswamy the gap between VIP enclosure and the Player’s area is less and so he could meet her, else it is not possible at any other stadium.

The Anti Corruption and Security Unit doesn’t allow players to meet even their wives and girlfriends during the match.

The match could not generate any result due to rain and RCB had to share points with DD, which means they could not finish in the Top two of the IPL table.
