Indian skipper Virat Kohli is rated as the seventh most famous sports personality in the World. In fact, MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh are one of the most famous cricketers in the world, as per ESPN Fame 100. Meanwhile, ESPN has picked the most famous sports personalities in the world.

ESPN picked the list on the basis of three aspects. The first one was the social media following, the second one was the Google trends and the final one was the brand value endorsements. In fact, Virat Kohli is the only Indian as well as the cricketer in the top 10 list.

Meanwhile, football star Cristiano Ronaldo is the most famous athlete in the world. Basketball star Lebron James is in the second place. Furthermore, big players like Neymar, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal breaks into the top 10 list.

On the other hand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been in sublime form in the recent past. Kohli had clean sweep all the three awards in the ICC Awards of 2018. The talisman batsman has batted at the top of his game and he is rewriting the history books in the game.

Kohli has completed 41 ODI hundreds and scored two centuries in the five-match series against Australia. Thus, Kohli has been a consistent performer for the India National Cricket Team.

On the other side, MS Dhoni is the second most famous cricketer from India. Dhoni power-hitting abilities are on the wane but the experienced campaigner has returned back to form. The master batsman is going to hold the key for the Indian team in the World. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh is the third most famous Indian cricketer.

Meanwhile, India lost the ODI series against Australia by 3-2. This was their last ODI series before the World Cup and now the players will play in the IPL.
