Virat Kohli Shares a Fan Video, Calls it the Best Feeling

The Indian team has had a promising start to the tour of England. Skipper Virat Kohli and his boys sealed the T20I series and are now set to compete in the ODI final in Leeds on Tuesday.

The England batters have failed to read spinner Kuldeep Yadav, and it has acted as a boon for the visitors.

England though came back strongly in the 2nd ODI in Lord’s to make it 1-1 with one more game to play. Joe Root scored a steady hundred to help his side win the game by 86 runs.

A target of 323 proved too daunting for the Indians. The chasers folded for 236.

Kohli lauds the supporters

Kohli thanked all the fans for supporting the side in the ongoing series. He shared a fan video where the team can be seen singing the national anthem along with the spectators, ahead of the game. He shared the clip on Instagram, and the caption read,

“One of the best feelings watching this video! Thank you, everyone, for your constant and unconditional support for us. Your cheers and love motivate us to keep trying harder every time!”.

Post the defeat in the 2nd ODI, Kohli backed his band of boys to come good. He said such experiments would help them in the longer run.

The skipper also said he trusts his players and wants to test the character under tough situations.

“We started pretty well with the bat, it was a good wicket, it got slower but when we lost three wickets in three overs that hurt us. I thought that’s where we fell behind. Credit to the bowlers, they stuck to their guns. We always want to test the character of the new guys; we expect these guys to do the job. It’s a great thing to test our new guys, and it’s important how they bounce back.” Kohli said.
